Hypnotherapy is widely used for all mental and emotional challenges. In a nutshell, hypnotherapy can generally help with any problem you're finding hard to handle on your own - thoughts and actions you'd like to banish or change, or emotional suffering that is too overwhelming or has gone on too long.
Some physical problems can also be treated effectively by hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is the key that enables the vast power of the mind to bring about positive and beneficial changes. Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness, where you are able to open your mind to beneficial suggestions and where you can make use of your imagination to help make positive changes in your life. Everybody experiences trance differently,it is a unique experience, but the client is always in control. In general a hypnotic trance is a pleasant, relaxing and tranquil experience. While hypnotised you will be aware of all physical sensations around you, perhaps even noticing sounds you wouldn't otherwise be aware of.
After a traumatic incident such as a car accident or violent robbery, a subject under hypnosis may be able to recall with extreme accuracy, car numbers, details etc that their subconscious mind has remembered but their conscious mind has overlooked. When you are fully aware again you may be able to recall everything that happened while you were in your trance, depending how deep your trance was.
Remember a morning when you were half awake and half asleep - you weren’t awake fully but because you weren't really all the way deep down asleep you could appreciate all the comfortable feelings that go with being snuggled down in your bed. Well that's pretty much how it feels to be hypnotised. You're not asleep but you're not awake either. Hypnotherapy is rather like being in a daydream, it is a state called "trance".
With hypnosis there's no right or wrong way to experience it, there's just different ways and they're all good. Hypnotherapy is a brief strategic therapy - one that is aimed specifically at finding a resolution to your problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.
A skilled hypnotherapist will have the ability to ascertain whether you need to regress back to find the root of the problem, or whether it is more applicable to use future progression techniques to change tomorrow.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a particular form of therapy, dating back thousands of years to ancient China, where they practiced holistic therapies such as acupuncture where points on ‘meridian’ or ‘energy lines’
are treated to correct an ailment situated in the associated area. Reflexology – following the same principle involves working with the thumbs and fingers in reflex areas that are found in the feet and hands. It is possible to treat the different areas of the body since every part of the feet and hands corresponds to a specific part of the body.
If you imagine a line drawn through the centre of the body, there are five zones on either side extending to the five fingers and toes, thus creating a small ‘map’ of the body on each hand and foot.
By working the various areas, a diagnosis can be made of which areas of the body are out of balance and can then be treated to correct these imbalances and return the body to stability and harmony. Because of the body’s being encouraged and aided to heal itself this form of therapy also helps to remove toxins from the body, aiding the elimination of harmful free radicals.
As well as detecting health problem early on – thus preventing serious symptoms from developing, reflexology can be used to maintain good health as a prevention of illness.
It is an excellent way to relieve stress and tension, all of which can lead to ill health. A treatment session is an extremely pleasant way of helping the body to relax.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
Indian head massage works in two distinct ways. In a physical way, the massage therapy works with a firm but gentle rhythm helping to relieve tension and stress that builds up in the head, neck and shoulders by alleviating knots and blockages.
Symptoms of stress such as headaches, migraines, eyestrain, neuralgia and stiffness in the neck can all be successfully treated by Indian Head Massage.
The Observer newspaper noted that ‘regular head massage is wonderfully relaxing, enhances the health of the scalp and promotes the growth of lustrous hair.’ On an emotional level, it offers the means by which an individual can begin to get in touch with the healing potential of their own inner being, calming the spirit, promoting relaxation and relieving stress. An ancient proverb states: ‘A happy mind is medicine, no better prescription exists.’ For people who feel depressed, worried, tense, despondent and stressed the Indian Head Massage treatment is guaranteed to lift the spirit, soothe the soul and create a state of happiness.
The traditional Indian Head Massage has been practiced by women in India for centuries. It was mainly restricted to the head and hair but Narendra Mehta extended the techniques to include the neck, shoulders and upper arms, and is credited with bringing the therapy to England in the 1970’s.

DIET/NUTRITION
There is an ever-growing appreciation for the role of healthy eating in determining the level of ones vitality. Many common ailments, illnesses and diseases are a direct cause of a lack of education in balancing dietary needs. In addition, more and more research is accumulating that indicates that certain foods offer immediate therapeutic benefits.
The human body is truly remarkable, but most Westerners are not feeding the body the high quality fuel it deserves and needs. When our bodies do not receive the proper building blocks they need for energy, maintenance or repair, it is only a matter of time before they fail to run in an efficient manner.
Many foods are available on today’s market that are highly nutritious, such as a wide variety of seeds, nuts, legumes, fresh and dried fruit, fresh vegetables, fish, whole grain foods and probiotics, all of which have many health benefits that are often overlooked. Maintaining a healthy, balanced eating habit is not time and energy consuming, as is often the popular view.
Due to diminishing mineral content in our soil foods do not always contain the adequate nutrients needed.

REIKI
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Energy, an energy which is all around us. Reiki is the name given to a system of natural healing which evolved in Japan from the experience and dedication of Dr Mikao Usui.
There is no belief system attached to Reiki so anyone can receive or learn to give a Reiki treatment, the only prerequisite is the desire to be healed.
The method of receiving a Reiki treatment from a practitioner is a very simple process: The recipient simply lies on a couch and relaxes. If they are unable to lie down the treatment can be given in a sitting position, the main thing is for the recipient to be as comfortable as possible. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki will pass through anything, even plaster casts.
The practitioner gently places their hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body. The whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms. A full treatment usually takes 1 hour with each position held for several minutes. It is possible to heal at any level of being: physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Reiki restores balance in one's life and creates amazing relaxation.
